Shipments

All in-stock product will be shipped by the Saturday of a given week at the latest, but usually by the next business day. If something is out of stock, you will find out right away how quickly we expect it back in.

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs.  All shipping quotes are based on express parcel service within Canada (2-7days delivery depending on your region), or on varying service to the United States. 

Please note that extremely heavy items such as detergents MAY have a shipping surcharge to reflect the true cost of shipping.  You will be advised of any additional charges before your order ships, so you will have the opportunity to revise your order.

If you are ordering a light & slim item (such as a coffee filter, table napkins, diaper covers, or a pair of socks), select "ecomum local pickup" at the cost of $2, and your item will be shipped regular post rather than express.  Again, this is ONLY an option with light, slim items.   Please contact us if you have any questions about this option.  Please be aware that this is an uninsured option -- all other rates mentioned above come with a minimum 100$ insurance.

We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.

Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.  As much as possible, and where appropriate, recycled packaging is used.

Please note that all shipping costs are non-refundable.  Shipping of returned items are at the expense of the customer, unless authorized by ecomum (such as in the case of defective merchandize).

For customers living in Peterborough, free delivery, or pickup is an option in order to save you shipping and handling charges.
